Cambrian College has joined the CCUEN

Cambrian College has joined the national network of Canadian universities and colleges that offer environmental studies and sciences programs and run field schools. Our goal in doing this is to participate with the network in attracting research funding, producing graduates and finding Professors. Ultimately our goal is to promote and advance Cambrian College's environmental programs. As an institutional network we are looking for increased partnerships with you. By joining the network and participating actively within CCUEN, Cambrian College will be increasing our image/brand as a leading college with the Environmental Technician and the Environmental Monitoring and Impact Assessment graduate certificate. Our secondary goal is to attract students to our programs by building our brand. CCUEN’s job board is a good example of potentially place to find faculty to teach for us. First and foremost the goal from my point of view as Dean, is an overall improvement and broadening of the image of Cambrian College in Canada among our peers. We will be actively marketing the CCUEN brand on our web page and communicate out that we have joined. We will be participating actively with the CCUEN activities, symposium, conferences, and workshops. In the near future, we will also be developing some of these that we will deliver at a later date, to present to you our colleagues.
